Good Nutrition

Today most people agree that good nutrition is a fundamental component of vibrant health. However, with much of our current food supply consisting of semi-synthetic, genetically engineered, nutrient- deficient packaged foods, it can be a challenge to eat well.

Tips for Adopting a Healthy Diet

~ Educate yourself and your family about nutrition. Whether your family is omniverous, vegan, vegetarian, macrobiotic, etc,the more you know of the fundamentals of eating right, the better choices you'll be better to make.

~ Be a positive influence for your children. Since children learn more from what we do than from what we say, adopting healthy eating habits ourselves can be a very powerful tool for instilling healthy habits in our kids.

~ Be proactive. Much our own, and our children's mood, disposition and overall health is directly afected by what goes in our mouths. We can make a big positive difference in the overall health of our families by being mindful about foods we eat and give to our kids.

~ Avoid Overly-Processed Foods. There is a dizzying array of diets out there, all with important elements to consider. The one thing most agree on is that highly processed, denatured foods are a recipe for poor health. Try to avoid them whenever possible.
